Between all the birth certificate nonsense and the town hall mobs, there's this little issue of health care and the public option. Fortunately, Howard Dean is not distracted by the background noise, and reminds us just how important the public option is.

Howard Dean makes all kinds of sense with this piece. The public option will bring the system into the modern era, save cost and cover whole lots of people...Right on Howard!
