Public television and a few other stations

Are educational and realize

The possibilities of information

Free of the feel you get hacking aside thick

Jungle vines and underbrush watching

For snakes, covered in sweat you won’t

Cleanse for days in pursuit of the secret

Place where very small monkeys wear

Flowers and appear to tango. And

Assuming you remember the names

You may then enthrall others with the

Knowledge adding insects and dangerous plants

As if you had been there or just say you watched

It on tv. They will be amazed or polite but

Either way the information will be out there

And others will know of the monkeys, the flowers,

And the tango even if they don’t know the names.

In this way you can go many places you will never be

Accumulate vast information free of danger

And discomfort and report back.

I, for example, have been about as far up

Everest as you can go without reaching the top

Because on the one I watched they had to turn back

When they lost a man. It was very sad and everyone

But me remembers the ache of the cold and

Has a sense of loss.
