Sanford & Palin

I have much more sympathy for the absolutely overwhelming seizure Eros can become in certain circumstances (Sanford) than I do for Palin's rambling narcissistic banter about the problems of office when one is under siege from media and pundits, etc. All that jabber about being a lame duck and 'milking it' as if she had no responsibility to her state beyond her personal problem?....Not taking Sanford's aborting his position lightly, but who has not been in the swamps of living when an extraordinary vision unfolds in the projected anima of intense desire that sweeps the saturated psyche into a gale-force ascensionist vortex in the face of gorgeous flesh? One is consumed in the fury of an all-embracing ardor that leaves nothing in the rational balancing act that most lives seem to be about. But, alas, the passionate dance is but a brief moment of levitation and the old self returns to its responsibilities and regrets....But that boundless erotic expanse is still one of life's great treasures.....
