                               The Rite of Spring

                                  Nijinsky’s Crone

             for Lee & Eva

Choreographed

             to be what we

              tribes were she

              is, the Bear

              encoded, old

              Mother’s body,

              loves’ totem

              breathing, jum-

  ping dance body

              like plants’ body

              growing old dying

birth body, like she.
